Your Donations At Work - COVID-19 Relief Fund for India

Rotary Club of Plainsboro, North and South Brunswick partnered with several organizations in India to provide essential COVID-19 related supplies, medical equipment and to participate in other service projects to help the community affected by COVID-19.

ISKCON Temple COVID Care Center, Dwarka, Delhi

 
Interact Club of North Brunswick and the Rotary Club of Plainsboro - North and South Brunswick came together to provide much needed COVID support to people from Delhi, India, by providing food for the impacted community. Cooked food were distributed through the ISKCON temple Covid care center at Dwaraka, Delhi to Covid patients, seniors recovering from Covid at home due to no bed availability; staff volunteering to help Covid patients; essential staff from the hospital keeping the area clean and folks unable to afford food due to loss of jobs.
Interact club kids raised funds for this through the Fairy Garden project. Another youth club in North Brunswick, Rising Tomorrow, also donated funds and oversaw the food donations in Delhi.

Ram Krishna Mission Hospital, Calcutta

 
Rotary Club of Plainsboro- North & South Brunswick (RCOP) partnered with Rotary Club of Calcutta Megacity in their fight to end Covid19 together and procured much needed medical equipment (Airvo 2 - a humidified Nasal High Flow system to deliver respiratory support to patients) for Ram Krishna Mission Hospital in Calcutta, India. The second wave of Covid19 is causing havoc in India and RCOP is thankful to be able to lend a helping hand to RC Calcutta Megacity members who are doing an admirable service to the society during these challenging times.

Gurudwara Guru Nanak Datan Sahib and Sikh Aid, Cuttack and Bhubaneshwar, Odisha

 
Rotary Club of Plainsboro has partnered with Gurudwara Guru Nanak Datan Sahib and Sikh Aid in the Twin city of Cuttack and Bhubaneshwar in Odisha. This is an organization run by Sikh Volunteers. They are serving free food for those affected by Covid -19 and are undergoing home quarantine . They are also providing Oxygen Cylinder ,Oximeter and Medical assistance to the Covid Patients.

Food Distribution, Hyderabad

 
Rotary Club of Plainsboro - North & South Brunswick through local volunteers in Hyderabad, India assisted in providing cooked food and other supplies to the visitors of Covid patients in local hospitals and needy during lockdown due to a massive second wave of covid19 cases running havoc in India.

Matrudevobhava Anadha Ashramam, Telangana

 
Rotary Club of Plainsboro-North & South Brunswick donated Sanitization liquid, Masks, 2 Spraying machines and Oxygen cylinders in aide of the Covid19 pandemic to Matrudevobhava Anadha Ashramam housing over 85 mentally disabled destitute orphans in Telangana, India.

Amma nanna Anada Ashramam, Telangana

 
Rotary Club of Plainsboro- North & South Brunswick donated Sanitizarion liquids, Masks, 2 spraying machines (to control the Covid spread in this pandemic situation) to Amma nanna Anada Ashramam (anadula punyakshetram) where the 400 Mentally disabled destitute orphans are Residing in Telangana, India.

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad - Solapur, Maharashtra

 
Rotary Club of Plainsboro - North & South Brunswick supported ABVP, Solapur in Maharashtra, India by donating funds to procure oxygen concentrators which will provide a much needed life support in the local community during the second wave of the covid19 pandemic.

Sir. C.V. Raman General Hospital - Bangalore

 
Rotary Club of Plainsboro-North & South Brunswick contributed funds to RC Bengaluru Disha's campaign that was started to raise funds for oxygen concentrators to help hospitals in Bengaluru, India. The initial INR 6L of funds raised were used to acquire 10 Philips oxygen concentrators (5Litre capacity). The devices were delivered to C V Raman General Hospital, which is a government hospital in need of the equipment serving the local community. RCOP is thankful to Rtn. Manoj Agarwal, RC Bengaluru Disha and RC Bangalore Indiranagar for doing such great service on the ground and for giving us the opportunity to lend a helping hand towards the solution during these challenging times.

Dry Ration and PPE Kits distribution - Telangana

Rotary Club of Plainsboro - North & South Brunswick provided funds to help procure PPE Kits and dry ration for the migrant worker families who lost their livelihood due to lockdown in Telangana, India. With recent lockdown adjustments locally, we hope they will find some livelihood soon. This project was implemented locally with volunteers and assistance from Gramya Resource Center for Women, Reds (Kadiri) and Rythu Swarajya Vedika (RSV). 250 PPE kits have been sent to volunteers in 5 districts in the state, enabling them to do their door to door surveys safely, assessing the health conditions of the families. Dry ration kits were sent to over 220 families of migrant workers who were in desperate need of food. All items were procured from local farmers and local vendors for this project.
